We have had an amazing experience working with Mark on the design of our new kitchen as part of a major home extension. From the outset, Mark took the time to really understand how we wanted to use the space and what mattered most to us. He struck the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, often spotting practical considerations that we hadn't even thought about ourselves. Mark's expertise in DIY Kitchens is incredible. His knowledge of the available modules, options and limitations is exceptional, and he knows exactly how to make them work in a real space. He challenged our thinking in all the right ways, from advising on island size and layout to helping us maximise value by making the most of standard worktop sizes and minimising waste. He even went into the level of detail of suggesting alternative solutions for things like bin storage when we weren't keen on the standard options. He was also incredibly helpful in advising what would need to be custom-made and how to brief the joiners, which gave us a lot more confidence moving into the build phase. We worked with Mark entirely remotely and would encourage anyone considering doing the same not to worry. Communication was excellent throughout. He was always responsive, turned around revisions quickly, and was patient as we worked through different ideas and changes. He was also very accommodating of our family circumstances, including working around the fact that my wife is expecting. The visualisations Mark produced were outstanding. They were both highly accurate and easy to understand, which made it much easier for us to make decisions and feel confident about the final design. Just as importantly, he clearly understands all the small practical details that make a kitchen enjoyable to live with day to day. Overall, the service was professional, knowledgeable and great value for money. The quality of the output was excellent, and we genuinely couldn't be happier with the result. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone designing a kitchen, particularly if they are using DIY Kitchens and want expert guidance on how to get the very best outcome from the space available.

Mark was excellent from start to finish he explained everything clearly, listened to what we wanted, and was always happy to help. He really went above and beyond to make sure everything was right for us, and his knowledge and attention to detail were fantastic. Mark has been fantastic from start to finish. Our kitchen and utility design had lots of bespoke elements, but Mark has been so thorough so explain options, give advice and guidance and is always professional. Designing a new kitchen on my own felt a bit overwhelming at first, but working with Mark made the entire process so much less stressful. Throughout the project Mark was patient, and genuinely listened to my ideas. He took the time to explain the potential impacts of different design decisions which empowered me to make well informed choices and ultimately arrive at the absolute best design for me. Mark’s attention to detail and design expertise are exceptional. He came up with brilliant layout ideas that maximized both storage and counter space in ways I never would have thought of myself. I can’t recommend Mark highly enough! He made the task of designing a new kitchen so easy with his excellent knowledge, sound advice, meticulous attention to detail and speedy and efficient communication. The plans and images he provides brings everything to life and he was always at the end of an email (with extremely quick responses) if I had any questions. We were in a rush to get our final plans in place and Mark  went out of his way to get things done rapidly which was hugely appreciated. We can’t recommend Mark highly enough. He was so helpful at every stage of the process, giving us lots of great ideas for solving difficult problems with our space and always coming up with options which we would have never been able to do ourselves. He was also so helpful in turning around designs quickly and his communication was brilliant, he was always just an email away and responded so promptly. We decided to use Mark's services for kitchen planning as we were both short on time and inspiration! Mark has been a pleasure to work with throughout the process, he's clearly very experienced and added value for the full room design,  sharing his experience and knowledge not only on the kitchen layout and units but also things like flooring and worktops. Our builder (kitchen being upgraded as part of an extension) has been really happy with the quality of the drawings/ plans; they've had really useful details on for him and the team as we approach first fix of the build. Would i do anything differently.... maybe we should have called Mark in sooner as he's certainly in demand but he's shown great flexibility to get us fitted in and had everything back to us in good time. Thanks Mark, we'll send you a picture when it's all in!
